Weightloss Journey....Day, whatever...I lost count.

Okay, so I haven't been as diligent at blogging my weight loss journey as I had hoped to be, but quite frankly, if I was getting bored with my day to day progress, I can't see anyone outside of my energy field being excited about it either.  A post here and a post there later, I am back with one of my little journey's that I am pretty sure I will never do again...a Detox fast. I went the route of Simplifast, which tastes super yummy and definitely keeps you filled, but when you're a person who loves to be gnawing on something, it becomes a bit of a feat to make it through 3 days.  It's an optional 1-7 day fast, but they basically break it down into 1, 3 or 7 days of fasting. You drink four of those bad boys a day and plenty of water and if you absolutely must, a nibble of fruits, OR, veggies....not both.  I did slip and I gnawed, but it was still hard. On the bright side, I did drop a few pounds, that most people wouldn't shout from the rooftops, but when yo...

One more Disney (Leap) Day...

Leap Day at Disneyland. One More Disney Day. One more day to make some money and one more day for those of us who love Disneyland (and were up to the challenge) to spend 24 hours at one of our favorite places.  At first I was nervous, because I was worried I wouldn't be up for the challenge, after all, by the time we left the park, Troy and I had already been up for almost 26 hours (we registered about 20 minutes of catnapping between the two of us during the 24 hours). It's hard to believe that it has been a week since our foray into sleepless craziness and while I am not sure that I have fully recovered from that fantabulous event, I do know one thing, it was worth it.  I have memories, met new people, saw 'Modern Family' being filmed (Thursday afternoon too!), got some pretty decent pictures of them filming, spent the entire day with my bestie since 9th grade and just had an all around great time.  People say we were crazy, and maybe we were, but we did it ...

Need something to do? How about great music and some hockey too!

Check out one (OR ALL!) of these shows and join the facebook pages listed below!  Also, if you like/love! hockey, you can get discounted tickets for the showdown between the Ducks and the Kings at the Honda Center. I'm with The Chris Anderson Group, making our debut at The Eldorado Restaurant in Long Beach when we host The Eastside Blues Jam TOMORROW, 8pm! We consider it a real honor to be asked by a true Blues club to host ... one of the most popular jams to so many great and talented Blues musicians. We'll kick off our set at 8pm and get the jam rolling at 8:45pm. Friday, 10pm The CAG is back at one of our favorite places to play, Stubrik's Steakhouse in Downtown Fullerton! Remember Stubrik's serves dinner until midnight and we'll keep the music rollin...
